How it works

Prep built around how contractor exams really work

Most contractor exams aren't memory tests. They test whether you can find the right rule fast and apply it to a job-site or business situation. We built ContractorConquer around that.

How we write questions

We don't use leaked or "recalled" exam questions. Each question is written from the official content outline in the candidate bulletin for that exam, then checked against the rule it tests: the OSHA section, state statute, building code section or reference chapter. That rule is named in the explanation, so you can check our work and learn where to find the answer in your own books.

How we keep it current

Licensing rules change. California raised its minor-work limit to $1,000 in 2025, Florida shortened its statute of repose to 7 years in 2023, and North Carolina raised its license limits. We review every exam page against the board's current published information. Pages show when they were last checked (currently October 2026).
